Telefónica – Agentic AI Open Call

Recently the Eureka Investment Readiness programme hosted an online session with Telefonica’s innovation arm, Wayra where they promoted a new open call on Agentic AI launched through the telco alliance Alaian.

At Alaian, twelve major global telecommunications companies have come together in a unique alliance with the mission of reinventing the industry by discovering the most disruptive startups and the potential to provide access to a network of 1.5 billion customers. This telecommunications alliance has a presence in more than 70 markets and access to a global technology, infrastructure, and investment ecosystem.

Alaian are interested in use-cases from startups and scaleups (pre-Series A to Series B) developing Agentic AI solutions in any of the following fields:

• Omnichannel Customer Care & Experience: Agentic systems enabling seamless voice, messaging, and digital interactions.
• Internal Process & Operations Automation: Autonomous agents executing complex end-to-end workflows.
• Agent-Assisted Software Development: AI agents accelerating code generation and integration.
• Network Automation & Autonomous Operations: Self-optimizing and intelligent network operations.
• Cybersecurity & Fraud Prevention: Proactive infrastructure and customer protection.
• Hyper-Personalization of Services: Dynamic services adapting to user behavior.
• Edge Computing & Distributed Agentic AI: Low-latency, real-time distributed intelligence.
