Innovative small- and medium-size enterprises made 687 applications to the latest Eurostars call, which closed on 19 March. Applications to Eurostars Call 10 covered different technologies, with projects in electronics, IT and telecoms leading with 220 applications, while the highest number of applications came from Germany, followed by Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Eureka Network’s Eurostars programme is an international funding programme for collaborative R&D projects led by innovative SMEs and is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The funding comes from National Funding Bodies – ministries or agencies in each Eurostars country or region, and the EU.
