Investment Readiness
Inci Holding – Corporate Challenge
The Investment Readiness Programme (IRP) is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
How to participate
İnci Holding is a Turkish industrial group headquartered in İzmir, operating mainly in automotive supply, energy storage, and industrial solutions. Founded in 1952, the company collaborates with global partners while also investing in new technologies and startups through open innovation and corporate venture activities. The group focuses on sustainable growth, innovation, and international partnerships across multiple sectors.
They have three mobility-related challenges available:
- Reducing Leakage-Related Scrap in Battery Manufacturing through Parameter Optimisation
Develop data-driven optimisation methods (e.g., AI/advanced analytics) to identify the optimal production parameters that minimise leakage-related defects detected during sealing and leak-testing stages, thereby reducing scrap rates and improving production efficiency. - Component-Level Product Traceability in Battery Manufacturing
Establish a digital traceability system that tracks critical battery components throughout the production process, enabling manufacturers to link product quality issues to specific materials, batches, or process conditions. - Battery Sales Network Optimisation Solutions
Design advanced analytics or AI-based solutions to optimise the battery distribution and sales network by improving demand forecasting, inventory positioning, and route planning across dealers and regions.
The challenges are ideal for companies above TRL 6 and beyond with testable solutions.
